Welcome to the Western PA Judge Registration process

Please know that you are VITAL, EXTREMELY IMPORTANT, and HUGELY APPRECIATED!!

You will need the following information to successfully register a judge.

• Name,  address, phone #, email address
• The membership #,  Problem name and #, and Division of the team/membership you are to represent.

In the registration fields, you see boxes labeled "Job Preference 1" and "Job Preference 2."  If you represent a team, YOU ONLY NEED TO FILL IN JOB PREFERENCE 1.  Click on the type of judge the team you represent assigned you - that would be either a SPONTANEOUS judge or a LONG TERM PROBLEM judge. 

Judging Commitment:

• As a Long Term (problem) or Spontaneous judge, I understand I am required to attend Western PA Judge Training as detailed on WPAOdyssey.org.
• I understand, if I am a Long Term Judge representing a team, I will be trained in the same Problem the team has chosen to compete in, but I will judge a different division.  I may not get to see my team compete.  
• If I am a Spontaneous judge representing a membership, I will be trained in Spontaneous. I will not judge the division of the team I represent and no one will see the spontaneous competition.  It is a closed competition.
• If I am a judge who is not affiliated with a team, I can choose which type of judge I would like to be or wait to be assigned based on need.
• I understand I will be judging an in-person competition. 
• In the spirit of fairness, I will not wear apparel or paraphernalia on Tournament Day that might indicate which school I represent.
• I understand, as a LONG TERM PROBLEM judge, if my team advances to the State Finals, I will be required to represent my team as their required trained/experienced judge. 
• I may also need to go to State Finals if a team in my membership advances, and I am the Membership's Spontaneous judge.
