Judging for the Qualifying Tournament

Welcome to NorCal Odyssey of the Mind!  We are excited to have you join us this year for the Qualifying Tournament.  We cannot have this program without dedicated volunteers like you, who make this all possible.

This registration is for JUDGES ONLY and 2-hour volunteer sign up information will be released at a later date. Please do not use this system for 2-hour volunteers.  Sign ups here are presumed judge/official registration. 

The Qualifying Tournament will take place March 4, 2023 at Natomas High School, 3301 Fong Ranch Blvd, Sacramento, CA.

Requirements for Judges:

• All judges must complete both online, self-guided training, as well as attend one live, virtual training session, on either Saturday, Feb. 11th, 2023 or Wednesday, Feb. 15th, 2023.  More information about training will be provided after you submit your registration.
• Your team will not be allowed to participate without providing a judge. 
• Judging is an all-day commitment.  Plan to be available from 7am to 5pm on tournament day.
• You will not be able to see your team’s performance.  If assigned to a problem, you will be assigned to a different problem than the one your team is performing in.
• All judges must be at least 18 years of age by tournament day.

By submitting your registration, you agree to complete the online training, attend one virtual training session, and attend the full tournament day as a judge.  If, for any reason, you can no longer attend the tournament, you will help identify a replacement as soon as possible.
