PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!

To reduce the risk of COVID-19 exposure to all participants, based on current NYS Department of Health guidelines, officials, volunteers, and visitors, IT IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED that everyone wear a mask or face shield covering your mouth and nose inside all buildings and buses, except for when eating in a designated food area.  This will be evaluated based on recommendations by the NYS Department of Health as we get closer to the tournament.

By registering as an official or volunteer, you agree to the entry declaration below. 

DECLARATION - An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 and other infectious conditions exists in any public space where people are present. If you choose to attend the tournament, you are voluntarily assuming all risks related to exposure to COVID-19, other infectious conditions, and other hazards that may be present in a public space.

HOTEL ACCOMODATIONS: Due to COVID-19 concerns, NYSOMA has planned for each official or volunteer to have their own private room, if they would like.  As NYSOMA covers rooms at half of the cost of a full room, if you would like a private room, you would be responsible for the cost of half of the room rate, or $61.00, payable upon check-in at the hotel.

Due to concerns some people may have regarding an overnight stay at the hotel and to allow those judges to drive to the fairgrounds Saturday morning, NYSOMA will be providing breakfast at the tournament site for each problem starting at 7 AM on Saturday.  All judges are expected to be at their tournament sites between 7:30 and 8 AM on Saturday to allow for time to eat and for the Problem Captain/Head Judge for your problem to communicate any final information.
