    B7g – Traveling segments:
Each segment is considered completed when the information travels within limitations a distance of at least five feet (5′) as measured between two imaginary vertical planes. For example, if information travels from a height of six feet to the floor it does not qualify as completing the segment unless where it comes to rest is at least five feet measured horizontally from where it began.

Page 48 of the Program Guide, Assigned Value Items: Number (7) 3-D Printed Items shows .50 cents per hour of printing time. This is a misprint. The assigned value of the cost of 3-D printed items is 50 cents per hour or $0.50 (US).

B7c and d Human Power: The Network Device is allowed to use any power source including indirect human power. Team members may not touch the information directly or indirectly while it is being transmitted. Team members are allowed to touch the information only to load it onto the device.

B6c – Network characters explaining functions:
Each Network Character’s explanation must occur while the information is being transmitted in their segment as designated by the performance. That explanation may begin at any time while the the transmission is taking place in that segment. The explanation is allowed to continue after the transmission in that segment ends whether or not it is a successful transmission.

    B8d&e – Transmitting information:
To successfully transmit information the information must be received. After the information travels a minimum of 5 feet, it must be in, on, or contacting a part of the network device. The network device components do not need to be interconnected.

B.8. – The required information to be transmitted:
The information being transmitted through the network device must be the same tangible items throughout its transmission through all three required legs. Changes in their form, shape, or appearance will not result in a penalty or loss of score. The information may not be replaced or substituted with a different item during the required transmission.
