With such a positive response last year, we had to do it again!
OotM-ism -- an original word that explains what it's like to be involved in Odyssey of the Mind -- the hard-work, the fun, the creative-thinking, or anything else that goes into it. OotM is now seeking more of these "words."

Do you have an OotM-ism? Submit them online at here.

OotM will compile these words for publication in OMER's World News at 2008 World Finals and will also post them online. Humorous, serious and creative words will be considered. Anyone involved with OotM can submit an OotM-ism!

Please include the word, the definition, and then use the word in a sentence.
For example:
OotM-ism: Problimb
Definition: A problem that grabs your attention.
Sentence: Traveling to the moon was a challenging problimb.

Here are some "words" selected last year:
Spontaneous-Teambustion: moment when a team is hit with an explosive wave of creative ideas. -- Daniel Hoskins, PA
Ootmuda Triangle: destination of all scissors, hot glue sticks, paintbrushes etc. that go into hiding when most needed. -- Londa Post, MI
OMER's Nesters: parents that continue to volunteer for Odyssey after their kids have graduated. -- Melissa Selman, MD
