2007 Spirit Award Recipient
is Wayne Kehrli whose 25 years
of service to OotM has enabled countless
children to explore their creativity.
Among other activities throughout the
program, his 17 years as International
Problem Captain for Problem 1 have
left a huge impact on many people
around the world.
The 2007 Creativity Award Goes to Whitwell
Middle School, TN -- especially Principal Linda
Hooper and Teacher Sandra Roberts for their work creating
"The Paper Clip Project." This innovative lesson took students
on a journey of understanding of the Holocaust, it brought
people together from varying cultures and regions, and even
helped raise awareness to people around the world by inspiring
an award-winning documentary about the project.
