dyssey of the Mind teams took over the University of
Colorado at 2005 World Finals. With each year, the event
grows and people from all over the world get a chance to
share their ideas and cultures. Here are a few highlights from the
event:

Teams traveled to World Finals from 33 U.S. States and 16 other countries.
|
|
Pennsylvania had the most World Champion teams with a
total of three; China, Maine, New York, and Singapore
each had two; and Arizona, Canada, California,
Colorado, Connecticut, North Carolina, Oklahoma, and
Texas each had one first place team.
|
|
It is estimated that over half a million pins were traded.
|
|
A total of 763 teams competed this year.
|
|
Singapore teams had the furthest to travel to World Finals,
with a distance of 9,048 miles between there and Boulder.
Hong Kong is second furthest with 7,456 miles and
Kazakhstan is third with a distance of 6, 697 miles.
|
|
Japan has the greatest time difference, being 16 hours ahead
of Mountain Time in Colorado.
|
|
For the first time, NASA brought both Space and Earth sci-ences
to World Finals at one time.
|
