New Haven Team wins 3rd at State Competition By Christa Bedel Students from New Haven Elementary recently competed in the Odyssey of the Mind State Competition which was held on March 27th at Eastern Kentucky University. The team came in 3rd place, competing against 8 other teams from across the state. Odyssey of the Mind teams work together to creatively solve a range of problems from building mechanical devices and vehicles and incorporating them into presentations to presenting comedy and literary classic interpretations. The Division 1 "Nature Trail'R" team from New Haven worked together on a problem sponsored by NASA to create a human-powered vehicle that would overcome obstacles, help clean-up the environment, and encounter wildlife. | More Articles | |
